Mother’s Day Out

Mother’s Day Out and the Early School Program, started in 1977, offer a calm yet stimulating learning environment for children ages 2 through 5. We work to make your child’s first steps from home to school a positive experience so that they will eagerly look forward to future school experiences.

Mother’s Day Out, which meets Tuesdays 10:00am-2:00pm, focuses on expanding your child’s knowledge and awareness of the world through stories, games, crafts and learning activities. Children in this program build self-esteem and security, develop appropriate interaction with other children, enhance large and small motor skills, learn to follow directions and become aware of their capabilities.

The Early School Program, which meets Thursdays, 10:00am 2:00pm, focuses on readiness skills. Curriculum for older students includes pre-reading, opposites, phonics, math and other age appropriate skills. Younger students focus on colors, shapes, rhymes and counting.
